A load-bearing wall was removed and replaced with a steel beam, joining the dining room and kitchen. The beam was hidden inside the dropped-ceiling. Recessed lighting lines the joint giving a modern, stylish and classy finish. The dropped ceiling permitted a flush-fitting high-flow extractor unit to be installed above the cooker and island worktop.
An entertainment wall was built with recessed lighting to contain the TV.
The floor was laid in large ceramic tiles, and together with the wrap-around glass, gives this large space a comfortable homely feel.
RBC worked with Parkes Interiors who supplied and fitted the luxury kitchen to a very high standard, together with appliances and granite worktops. As you can see from the pictures, the site remained clean and safe throughout the renovation, something RBC takes great pride in.
The project was completed on schedule and handed over to a very happy client.
